- 1 lb pizza dough
- 1 cup pizza sauce
- 8 oz mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 6 oz pepperoni, chopped
- All-purpose flour for rolling
- Extra sauce for dipping
Instructions
- 1 Prepare: On a floured surface, roll pizza dough to ¼ inch thickness. Using a 3-inch round cutter, cut dough into circles
- 2 Assemble: Place a spoonful of sauce, shredded cheese, and chopped pepperoni in center of each circle. Fold dough over and press edges with fork tines to seal
- 3 Cook: Air fry at 375°F / 190°C for 8-10 minutes until calzones are golden brown and crispy
- 4 Serve: Allow to cool slightly before serving with warm pizza sauce for dipping
