Ingredients

  • 1 lb pizza dough
  • 1 cup pizza sauce
  • 8 oz mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 6 oz pepperoni, chopped
  • All-purpose flour for rolling
  • Extra sauce for dipping

Instructions

  1. 1 Prepare: On a floured surface, roll pizza dough to ¼ inch thickness. Using a 3-inch round cutter, cut dough into circles
  2. 2 Assemble: Place a spoonful of sauce, shredded cheese, and chopped pepperoni in center of each circle. Fold dough over and press edges with fork tines to seal
  3. 3 Cook: Air fry at 375°F / 190°C for 8-10 minutes until calzones are golden brown and crispy
  4. 4 Serve: Allow to cool slightly before serving with warm pizza sauce for dipping
