Beef Empanadas

Ingredients

  • 8 Goya empanada discs, in frozen section, thawed
  • 1 cup picadillo
  • 1 egg white, whisked
  • 1 tsp water

Instructions

  1. 1 Prep: Prepare air fryer basket by spraying generously with olive oil spray or lining with air fryer parchment paper.
  2. 2 Fill: Add 2 tbsp picadillo to center of each empanada disc. Fold disc in half and crimp edges firmly with fork tines.
  3. 3 Egg Wash: Combine egg white with water and brush mixture over tops of empanadas.
  4. 4 Air Fry: Cook in single layer at 350°F / 180°C for 8 minutes, flipping halfway through until golden brown.
  5. 5 Note: For frozen empanadas, air fry at 350°F / 180°C for 12 minutes, flipping halfway.
