- 8 Goya empanada discs, in frozen section, thawed
- 1 cup picadillo
- 1 egg white, whisked
- 1 tsp water
Instructions
- 1 Prep: Prepare air fryer basket by spraying generously with olive oil spray or lining with air fryer parchment paper.
- 2 Fill: Add 2 tbsp picadillo to center of each empanada disc. Fold disc in half and crimp edges firmly with fork tines.
- 3 Egg Wash: Combine egg white with water and brush mixture over tops of empanadas.
- 4 Air Fry: Cook in single layer at 350°F / 180°C for 8 minutes, flipping halfway through until golden brown.
- 5 Note: For frozen empanadas, air fry at 350°F / 180°C for 12 minutes, flipping halfway.
