  • 2 tsp extra-virgin olive oil
  • 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • ½ tsp kosher salt
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • ¼ tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. 1 Prep: Pound chicken breasts to even thickness under plastic wrap using a rolling pin or meat mallet.
  2. 2 Brine: Optional but recommended - sprinkle chicken with salt and refrigerate uncovered for 30 mins to 24 hours.
  3. 3 Season: Mix paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and pepper. Coat chicken with olive oil and seasoning mixture.
  4. 4 Air Fry: Place chicken smooth side down and cook at 375°F / 190°C for 6 minutes.
  5. 5 Flip: Turn chicken over and continue cooking 2-8 minutes until internal temperature reaches 155-160°F or 68-71°C.
  6. 6 Rest: Let chicken rest covered for 5-10 minutes before slicing to retain juices.
  7. 7 Note: Total cooking time varies by chicken size - 8 minutes for smaller breasts, up to 14+ minutes for larger pieces.
