Ingredients

  • Refrigerated pie crust
  • Pie filling of choice
  • 1 large egg
  • Water
  • Coarse sugar for topping

Instructions

  1. 1 Prepare: Preheat air fryer to 350°F / 180°C. Using a round cutter, cut pie crust into 3.5-inch circles.
  2. 2 Assemble: Place 1 tbsp of filling in center of half the dough circles. Lightly brush edges with water.
  3. 3 Form: Cover filled circles with remaining dough. Press edges firmly with fork tines to seal.
  4. 4 Finish: Brush tops with beaten egg wash and sprinkle with coarse sugar.
  5. 5 Cook: Air fry for 6-7 minutes until pastry is golden brown and flaky.
  6. 6 Serve: Allow to cool slightly before enjoying.
