Ingredients
- 6 tbsp unsalted butter cut into pieces
- 4 oz semi-sweet chocolate bar broken into pieces
- 1 large egg
- 1 egg yolk from a large egg
- 3 tbsp white sugar
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
- 3 tbsp all-purpose flour
- pinch of salt
Instructions
- Prep: Grease three 6-oz ramekins and set aside
- Mix: In a microwave-safe bowl, melt butter and chocolate in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until smooth. Set aside
- Combine: Using an electric mixer, beat together egg, egg yolk, vanilla extract and sugar until well combined
- Finish Batter: Fold in flour, melted chocolate mixture and salt until just combined
- Fill: Divide batter between prepared ramekins, filling each halfway
- Bake: Air fry at 370°F / 188°C for 8-10 minutes until edges are set but center is still soft
- Serve: Let cakes rest 1 minute in ramekins. Carefully loosen edges with a knife and invert onto serving plates. Optional: top with whipped cream, fresh berries or powdered sugar
