Chicken Drumsticks

Ingredients

  • 6 chicken drumsticks
  • Baking powder
  • Curry powder
  • Kashmiri chili powder
  • Garlic powder
  • Sugar and salt
  • Olive oil
  • Fresh cilantro
  • Cucumber, yogurt, herbs
  • Ground spices

Instructions

  1. 1 Prepare: Combine baking powder with curry powder, chili powder, garlic powder, sugar and salt. Thoroughly pat drumsticks dry with paper towels.
  2. 2 Season: Coat chicken pieces evenly with spice mixture, then drizzle and rub with olive oil.
  3. 3 Air Fry: Place in air fryer basket and cook at 400°F / 200°C for 10 minutes. Flip drumsticks and continue cooking 7-10 minutes until skin is crispy and internal temperature reaches 165°F or 74°C.
  4. 4 Prepare Dip: While chicken cooks, combine grated cucumber with yogurt, fresh herbs and ground spices to make raita.
  5. 5 Serve: Transfer drumsticks to serving plate, garnish generously with fresh cilantro and serve alongside raita dip.
