Fried Shrimp

Ingredients

  • 1 lb large shrimp (26-30 count)
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp seasoning salt
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1½ cups panko breadcrumbs
  • Cooking spray
  • Cocktail sauce for serving

Instructions

  1. 1 Prepare: Remove shells and devein shrimp if needed. Create three shallow dishes: one with flour and seasoning salt, one with beaten eggs, and one with panko breadcrumbs
  2. 2 Bread: Working in batches, coat each shrimp first in seasoned flour, then dip in egg wash, and finally press into panko breadcrumbs to coat completely
  3. 3 Season: Lightly spray the breaded shrimp with cooking spray to help achieve golden browning
  4. 4 Cook: Place in air fryer at 400°F / 200°C for 6-8 minutes until coating is golden and shrimp are cooked through
  5. 5 Serve: Transfer to serving plate and enjoy hot with cocktail sauce
