Ingredients

  • Fresh green beans
  • ½ cup flour
  • 1 egg
  • Panko breadcrumbs with romano cheese
  • Italian breadcrumbs
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • Salt & pepper, to taste
  • Avocado oil spray

Instructions

  1. 1 Prepare Breading: Place flour in a large ziplock bag. In separate bowls, beat the egg and combine both types of breadcrumbs with garlic powder, salt and pepper
  2. 2 Coat Beans: Add green beans to the flour bag and shake gently to coat. Remove beans, shake off excess flour, then dip in beaten egg
  3. 3 Bread: Roll the egg-coated beans in the seasoned breadcrumb mixture until well covered
  4. 4 Air Fry: Spray air fryer basket with avocado oil. Cook at 350°F / 180°C for 6 minutes, shaking basket halfway through, until golden and crispy
