Ingredients
- 8 medium jalapeños, halved & seeded
- 6 oz cream cheese
- 4 oz sharp cheddar, shredded
- 5 slices bacon, chopped
- ⅔ cup panko breadcrumbs
- Seasonings (garlic, onion powder, paprika)
- Cooking spray
Instructions
- Preparation: Combine softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar, and seasonings in a bowl until well mixed
- Bacon Topping: Crisp the chopped bacon in a pan, then mix the panko breadcrumbs into the bacon drippings. Stir in the crispy bacon pieces
- Assembly: Fill each jalapeño half with the cheese mixture, then press the tops into the prepared panko-bacon mixture
- Cooking: Air fry at 400°F / 204°C for 7-10 minutes, watching carefully until the tops are golden brown and peppers are tender
