Ingredients
- 3 large Vidalia onions
- 1 cup flour
- 1 packet ranch seasoning
- 4 large eggs
- 4 cups panko breadcrumbs
- 5 tbsp olive oil
- salt & pepper, to taste
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 tbsp ranch powder
- Fresh dill
Instructions
- Prepare: In a bowl, combine flour and ranch seasoning. In a separate bowl, whisk eggs with 2 tbsp water. In a third bowl, mix panko breadcrumbs with olive oil
- Bread: Dip each onion ring first in the seasoned flour, then egg wash, and finally coat thoroughly with the panko mixture
- Cook: Air fry at 375°F / 190°C for 12-16 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crispy
- Make Dip: While rings cook, combine sour cream with ranch powder and chopped fresh dill
- Serve: Arrange hot onion rings on a platter and serve immediately with the ranch dip
