Ingredients

  • 3 large Vidalia onions
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning
  • 4 large eggs
  • 4 cups panko breadcrumbs
  • 5 tbsp olive oil
  • salt & pepper, to taste
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 tbsp ranch powder
  • Fresh dill

Instructions

  1. 1 Prepare: In a bowl, combine flour and ranch seasoning. In a separate bowl, whisk eggs with 2 tbsp water. In a third bowl, mix panko breadcrumbs with olive oil
  2. 2 Bread: Dip each onion ring first in the seasoned flour, then egg wash, and finally coat thoroughly with the panko mixture
  3. 3 Cook: Air fry at 375°F / 190°C for 12-16 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crispy
  4. 4 Make Dip: While rings cook, combine sour cream with ranch powder and chopped fresh dill
  5. 5 Serve: Arrange hot onion rings on a platter and serve immediately with the ranch dip
