
Drain pineapple chunks thoroughly and pat dry — excess moisture prevents the bacon from crisping.
Wrap each pineapple chunk with a half slice of bacon. Secure with a toothpick.
Mix brown sugar with cayenne and black pepper. Sprinkle over the wrapped bites.
Air fry at 380°F for 10-12 minutes until bacon is crispy and brown sugar is caramelized.

Tip: Use thin-cut bacon — thick bacon takes too long and the pineapple overcooks. Pat the pineapple very dry or the bacon steams. The brown sugar caramelizes into a sticky, addictive glaze.
