
Mix ground beef gently with seasonings. Form into 8 thin patties slightly larger than the buns (they shrink).
Air fry at 400°F for 5-6 minutes. Flip, add cheese, cook 2-3 more minutes until cheese melts and patties reach 160°F.
Toast buns in air fryer for 1 minute.
Assemble with pickles, ketchup, mustard, onion, lettuce, and tomato.
Tip: Make patties slightly larger and thinner than the buns — they shrink as they cook. Don't press the patties while cooking or you squeeze out the juice. 80/20 beef has the best flavor and juiciness for burgers.
