Fish
1 lb white fish (cod or mahi mahi), cut into strips
1/2 cup flour
1 egg, beaten
1 cup panko breadcrumbs
1 tsp cumin
1/2 tsp chili powder
Cooking spray
Slaw & Assembly
2 cups shredded cabbage
1/4 cup mayo mixed with 2 tbsp lime juice and 1 tsp sriracha
8 corn tortillas
Fresh cilantro
Pickled jalapeños
Lime wedges
Sliced avocado

Steps

    Cut fish into strips. Season with salt. Dredge in flour, egg, then panko mixed with cumin and chili powder.

    Spray all sides with cooking spray.

    Air fry at 400°F for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and fish flakes easily.

    Toss cabbage with the spicy lime crema.

    Assemble tacos with fish, slaw, cilantro, pickled jalapeños, avocado, and a squeeze of lime.

💡

Tip: The spicy crema-dressed slaw is what makes these — don't skip it. Warm your tortillas in the air fryer for 30 seconds at the end. Double up the corn tortillas so they don't tear. Mahi mahi has more flavor; cod is more traditional for Baja-style.
