
No need to thaw — use frozen hash browns directly.
Toss with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
Spread in an even layer in the air fryer. Press down slightly to compact.
Air fry at 400°F for 10-12 minutes, flipping the hash brown patty halfway (or shaking if loose), until deeply golden and crispy.
Serve with eggs, bacon, ketchup, and hot sauce.
Tip: Starting from frozen is actually better — less moisture for crispier results. Press them into a patty for a diner-style hash brown, or leave loose for a more shredded texture. The more you compact them, the crispier the outside and softer the inside.
