Steps

    Poke each bratwurst 2-3 times with a fork to prevent bursting.

    Air fry at 375°F for 12-15 minutes for fresh brats (8-10 for pre-cooked), turning halfway.

    Brats are done when the skin is blistered and browned and internal temp reaches 160°F.

    Toast buns in the air fryer for 1 minute.

Tip: Fresh brats need the full cook time; pre-cooked just need to heat through and crisp. Poking holes prevents them from splitting. For beer brats, simmer in beer and onions first, then air fry for the crispy finish.
