
Peel and core the pineapple, then slice into ½-inch thick rings and pat dry with paper towels.
Brush both sides of each ring with melted butter.
Mix brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt, then press the mixture onto both sides of each ring.
Air fry at 400°F for 10–12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until deeply caramelized and golden.
Serve warm topped with whipped cream or ice cream and a sprinkle of toasted coconut.
Tip: Patting the pineapple rings dry before coating is essential — excess moisture prevents proper caramelization. Fresh pineapple works much better than canned.
