
Whisk flour, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
In another bowl, mix sugar, egg, apple cider, melted butter, and vanilla. Combine wet and dry — don't overmix.
Spoon batter into a greased donut mold, filling 2/3 full.
Air fry at 350°F for 7-9 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
Immediately brush warm donuts with melted butter and roll in cinnamon sugar. Serve warm.
Tip: Reduce 1 cup of apple cider to 1/3 cup on the stove for more intense apple flavor. Don't overmix the batter — lumps are fine. Overbaked donuts are dry; pull them slightly early.
