1 lb carrots, peeled and cut into 1/2-inch diagonal pieces
1 tbsp olive oil
1/2 tsp salt
Glaze
2 tbsp honey
1 tbsp butter, melted
1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
1/4 tsp cinnamon
1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
Finish
Fresh parsley or cilantro
Sesame seeds (optional)
Flaky sea salt

Steps

    Toss carrots with olive oil and salt. Cut pieces evenly for uniform cooking.

    Air fry at 380°F for 10 minutes, shaking halfway.

    Mix honey, melted butter, red pepper flakes, cinnamon, and lemon juice.

    Toss carrots with the glaze. Air fry 3-5 more minutes until caramelized and tender.

Tip: Cut carrots the same size — big pieces stay raw while small ones burn. Add the glaze near the end so the honey caramelizes instead of burning. They should be fork-tender with crispy, caramelized edges.
